Ecotest is not an academic study. It is a practical tool based on actual data from the chain. Ecotest uses only the most essential indicators to justify decisions. This provides you with a better grasp of vast amount of environmental indicators that are usually involved in Life Cycle Assessment (LCA). Ecotest obviously complies with the ISO standards applicable to this type of analysis. Ecotest calculations are performed using the LCA software SIMAPRO 7.
Ecotest differs from static LCA analyses or CO2 calculation in that it constitutes a dynamic model. After the data for your product chain has been entered, it is possible to make changes to the model, thus allowing new scenarios to be analyzed.
